Supplier Product Guidelines |
|||||
|
All purchase orders are subject to the following guidelines: All product must be delivered on time: o All delivery commitments to our customers are based on the original lead-times agreed upon with the supplier at the time of quotation. Purchase order dates are Electro-Graph on-dock dates, and not supplier ship dates . Any cost associated with upgrading shipping in order to meet original delivery date will be absorbed by the supplier, unless otherwise noted.
All product must be handled with care: o The supplier is responsible for providing Electro-Graph with conforming products, properly packaged and undamaged. If a supplier has any doubt regarding the packaging of parts being shipped, the supplier should contact Electro-Graph's Purchasing Department to resolve such doubts.
All product must be free of burrs and sharp edges: o If in doubt, please refer to the blueprint or contact Electro-Graph's Purchasing Department.
All Product must be clean and free of contaminants: o The supplier is responsible for providing Electro-Graph with properly cleaned product that is ready for final inspection. Parts are to be free of contaminants such as oils, acids, dirt, and grime or the appearance of contamination such as fingerprints and staining. If un-cleaned parts are received, we will return them to the supplier. The rejection will be identified on the NCR as a FINISH discrepancy.
Product Part Marking: o Product part marking is defined as marking product by means of (metal) stamping, etching, machining, or similar methods of permanently identifying a product. Unacceptable methods would include ink stamping, plastic labels, or similarly easily removable markings that would cause contaminants when removed.
Please contact Electro-Graph's Purchasing Department for clarification, as needed, of any category.
